HomeSaver Flue Goo II Non-Water Soluble Refractory Cement

This mixture is a specially designed, gray-colored refractory cement that is non-water soluble after drying. Use Flue Goo II for flue tile installations, as well as for setting firebrick and parging the walls of smoke chambers. Sold in powder form in resealable, 1 gallon plastic tubs. Each gallon will set about 10 to 20 flue tiles, 30 firebrick, or will cover 4 to 6 sq. ft. when parged to a thickness of 1/8″ to 1/4″. Flue Goo II withstands up to 2200° F. Not for exterior use.

HomeSaver Pre-Mixed Flue Goo Furnace/Refractory Cement

Flue Goo is a multi-purpose furnace/refractory cement. It will bond masonry to masonry, steel to steel, and steel to masonry. Flue Goo will withstand temperatures up to 3000°F without cracking or shrinking. Flue Goo is freeze/thaw stable; however, it’s still a good idea to bring it indoors in freezing weather. It comes premixed and ready to use, and is water soluble for easy cleanup. It is not for exterior use.
